The Queen’s Health System launched a new command center that will help improve patient care across its facilities according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. The Aukani Center, supported by GE HealthCare’s Command Center platform, provides real-time data about the location of patients, the number of occupied beds per unit, and the estimated number of discharges and transfers across Queen’s facilities.
The command center helps care teams be involved more proactively in day-to-day operations. “Now we can make data-driven decisions,” said Alexandra Woe, vice president of patient care at Queen’s.
