Oregon Health & Science University Mission Control Increases Capacity for Transfer Patients
The inability to accept transfer patients due to capacity issues was a challenge for OHSU. They addressed the problem by deploying their own Mission Control. Now, predictive and near real-time analytic are available to help the team at Mission Control and the staff at each hospital streamline operations and increase patient capacities.
Jennifer Packer, M.S.N., RN, CENP, CEN, chief nursing officer for Tuality Healthcare explains, "It’s having a real impact for our patients, and we are able to serve more patients."
