Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) has implemented Canada’s first province-wide command center to improve patient throughput

The Care Coordination Centre (C3) is focused on improving patient flow and access to care across the Health Authority’s forty-one facilities.

Supported by GE HealthCare’s Command Center technology, C3 enables teams to provide better patient care and experiences. 

“We are resolving escalations earlier and all day using the Patient Manager Tile,” said Kim McMahan, C3 Director of Access and Flow across the Central Zone.
